Make sure to use premium butane when refilling your torch lighter, as lower quality butane can clog the lighter. Follow these steps to refill your lighter:

1. Release all tank pressure by pressing the inlet valve with a screwdriver until no hissing sound is heard.
2. Set the flame adjustment to the lowest setting by turning the adjustment wheel on the bottom of the lighter.
3. Hold the lighter in a vertical upside-down position and insert the tank tip directly on the inlet valve. Press down firmly for 3-5 seconds using the long nozzle tip.
4. Wait 3-4 minutes before igniting the lighter to allow excess butane to evaporate and the gas inside to reach room temperature.
5. Turn the flame adjustment wheel back 1/2 turn counter clockwise. If the lighter doesn't light, continue adjusting the wheel in 1/4 turns until it lights.

To adjust the flame level, turn the flame adjustment wheel counter clockwise to increase the flame and clockwise to decrease it. Keep the flame height at 1’’ to 1.5’’ for best results. Remember to extinguish the lighter before turning the flame height adjustment wheel.
